Step 1: Initial Telemedicine Consultation
Start with an easy and quick contact via our telemedicine platform. This essential step allows for an initial assessment, advice, and guidance without you having to travel.

- Follow-up and Treatment Plan : Receive a care plan and prescriptions from a veterinarian following data collection and initial assessment by our AHT.
- Visual Support : Share photos and videos of your animal for a better remote assessment.
- Optimization : Ideal for urgent questions, post-treatment follow-ups, or to determine the necessity of an in-home visit.
Step 2: In-Home Care by Mobile our Animal Health Technician

If a physical intervention is required after the teleconsultation, our AHT travels directly to your home for personalized, stress-free care for your animal.

FAQ : Abitibi appointments
1. Deposit
▶ Why is a deposit required?
This deposit guarantees quick access to care. By reducing missed appointments, we free up time slots for animals in urgent need. The full amount is deducted from your final bill.
▶ What happens if I need to reschedule?
If rescheduled more than 24 hours in advance, the deposit remains in your account for a future visit. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, or in the event of a delay of more than 10 minutes, $50 is forfeited as a fee.
▶ Can I book an appointment without a deposit?
All Abitibi appointments require a deposit at all times, with no exceptions.
2. At-Home Care
▶ Can I receive at-home care without a telemedicine consultation?
Unfortunately, no. A telemedicine consultation is a mandatory legal step that allows one of our veterinarians to establish a diagnosis, prescribe treatment, or confirm your pet’s health. Since we operate with a remote veterinary team, the technician can only intervene physically at your home once these services have been officially authorized. This procedure allows us to offer you rigorous medical supervision, just like in a clinic, but in the comfort of your own home.
