This Return/Refund Policy governs the return and refund of goods sold by Vet & Cie in-store and/or via its online store hosted by www.mavitrineveterinaire.ca.

This Return/Refund Policy operates in conjunction with the Returns/Refund Policy of www.mavitrineveterinaire.ca and our Site Terms and Conditions, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy.

By making a purchase on this Site, you indicate that you have read and understand this Return/Refund Policy and agree to its terms, including additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink.

Return and Refund for Online Purchases

The return and refund of goods purchased from our online store are governed by the Returns/Refund Policy of www.mavitrineveterinaire.ca.

Return and Refund for Purchase In-Store Purchases

You must provide your receipt to be eligible for an exchange or refund for in-store purchases.

Medicines and products with or without a prescription are neither exchangeable nor refundable once purchased goods have left the store.

Dry food is neither exchangeable nor refundable, except under special authorization of the manufacturer concerned.

Canned wet food is refundable under certain conditions:

  • The refund request must be made within 10 days of the date of your in-store purchase;
  • The container must not have been opened;
  • The returned product and its packaging must be in perfect condition for resale.

Accessories and games are exchangeable or refundable under certain conditions:

  • The refund request must be made within 10 days of the date of your in-store purchase;
  • The returned product and its packaging must be in perfect condition for resale.

Deposit and Refund for Veterinary Procedures

A deposit corresponding to 25% of the total amount required for a veterinary procedure with or without sedation or general anesthesia taking place in the clinic must be made when booking. 

If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours, your deposit will be converted into a credit you can apply on your next appointment. Otherwise, the deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, except with the authorization of the veterinarian for the following reasons:

  • The animal’s health has deteriorated to the point where the planned intervention cannot take place;
  • The animal no longer requires the intervention;
  • The animal died before the intervention.

A non-refundable deposit corresponding to 50% of the total amount required for a veterinary procedure with or without sedation or general anesthesia at the clinic must be made on the day of the intervention. Final payment takes place when you leave the clinic with your pet.

A deposit of $200 is required when making an appointment for a specialized procedure necessitating a veterinarian’s visit. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

Late or Missing Refund

If you have yet to receive the refund you expect, check first with your bank or credit card company, depending on the payment method used for the purchase. Please note there may be a delay between the issuance of the refund and its processing in the relevant account. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have done all that and still have not received your refund.
